Default Website Problem (Website) on PERL

    Hi,

My name is Patrick, I work for a web hosting company and we just got a message from one of our customers regarding a problem they have because their website has been programming in PERL.

In fact, we have import this customer from an another outside hosting partner into our new WHM/CPANEL hosting machine. My question is ?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can we check in order to see if some PERL required support modules had been load or not ? in our designate LINUX WHM host/CPANEL

    Thanks

    Patrick

    Hi,

You can check the installed Perl modules on Linux server using below command.

    root@test [~]# instmodsh

then you will get the below prompt

    Available commands are:
l - List all installed modules
    m <module> - Select a module
    q - Quit the program
    cmd?

    just hit l

    to quit type q

then if you want to install any missing Perl module then you can install it using it cPanel script.

    /scripts/perlinstaller modulename (e.g. XML::SAX)
