What is the option in my Shared Cpanel for?
(Executing it brings up message to get my Provider to install Addons)

Also - if I want to install a product not listed in Fantastico, how can I do it?

go t the site that makes the script and you install it your self

cpanel addons are script installers there are not as many and all of them and they are included with Fatastico

The machine in question is a shared Server, and it doesn't seem to have that D.I.Y option.
I want to try out SMF new V2.0 product, but it is still classified as Beta, so won't be on any Installer programs soon :-(
