Chances are that you are uploading the file to your home directory and you are checking public_html or vice versa.

If you are uploading using an FTP client such as smartFTP please check the error logs. Also check the settings once again and confirm the user to which you are logging in and also the upload directory is public_html.

In short, if the files are getting uploaded to the server it should be there !

Procedure of Checking the error log will depend on which ftp client you are using. For Eg: if you are using smartftp, error messages will be displayed at the bottom of the Host window in the area called Log View.

Here the best option would be to contact your hosting support and ask him to check server ftp logs and your home folder to see if the file you uploaded is under your home folder.

Hmm.. Some one should manually check the your account on the server to see the status. Contact your support team.

Sounds like you need a good management company for your VPS, or at the very least a host that will look into these issues for you.

Default file manager/CMS uploads not working

I'm seeing the same issue on one of our servers. Customer's can upload via FTP/SFTP but using the filemanager or their applications php uploader it is not working. File manger reports success but the file is not in the directory. I've tested on several customer accounts at this time and all are having the same issue. If I find a resolution today I'll post it here.

    Default upcp fixed it

We scoured the cPanel logs for anything and found nothing. We ran an upcp to get version

    cPanel 11.24.4-R36167 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9

and it fixed it. Still not sure of the cause, didn't have time to dig too deep before trying an upcp.
