Default Where does cPanel store Account Level Cron Jobs?

    Hi

When someone creates a cronjob within a cPanel account.

Where on the filesystem does that information get recorded?

Is it under the users account in a files or in a more general area.

Another question is if the user does a homedir backup using the backup tools within cPanel does it included the cronjobs into the backup.?

    /var/spool/cron

Yes. You'll find a directory called cron in your backup.

    Thanks for that.

Strange but my users account doesn't have a cron directory.

    /home/user/cron?

There are cron jobs assigned in cPanel for a user account, but I can't see the file that holds this data inside the users account?

    Any ideas?

    Ah, thanks.

I checked the homedir backup from the cPanel user account backup page.

The cron info isn't in there. It's obvious that it's missing now, since /var/spool/cron is definately not in the /home directory space.

    That's ashame.
