Question Where to start with cPanel?

I just finished setting up my host, and have now logged into my cPanel for the first time and to say the least I am LOST. I really do not know where to begin. I have used front page in the past to build a site, but have been told you can't mix front page with other stuff, if you use front page you have to use it for the whole site and nothing else. So my ?'s are this:
    1. If I go with using front page, can I use any of the fantastico or other pre-installed scripts on cPanel?
    2. If I don't go with front page, where do I start? How do I even begin building the site, starting with the index page? How do you even start your first page?
    3. When you want to start your index page, the first page of your web, what do you do...meaning where do you start? How do you even get the page to appear? Where do you put it, how do you create it, how do you access it, etc...??
I know these are silly ?'s to some, but for some one who is completely new to cPanel and web design in generally, they are the key to beginning. I am definitely a Newbie so any and all help is GREATLY appreciated! I need all the help I can get.
    Thanks in advance,
    Nikki

Support on these issues is really something your hosting provider should assist you with.

Have you tried contacting your hosting provider?

Let me clear up that myth. You can use any number of website builders to create and publish a website. Some people use Frontpage because it does somethings better, others use Dreamweaver. In the end you could start using 1 and finish using another. Each editor just sees and edits the HTML coding.

The other user was correct, this forum really is designed for support of the cpanel/whm product not really help with designing websites. If you need help I found a couple websites that you can learn more at.
