Do you own the WHM box or just a client, Maybe that your host disabled this, If so then he probably uses WHM - You can change your password within this.

Its quite good I use it on one of my boxes, WHY ? I done it this way so the WHMCS is updated with the right details, Least if they do ask for support I can easily get the right information.

Where as most people, They change password in there cPanel but do not update there client area so when they ask us for support we did have to ticket reply asking then for there user details as there cPanel did not match up with the whmcs.

    Makes sense really.

    Default Please contact your host

Your host can disable the ability for you to change your cPanel password yourself. If this feature is not present, you will need to contact your host and ask them to change your password for you.

If you give your password to anyone, that person will be able to log into your cPanel, so you need to be very careful whom you give your password to.
For hands-on assistance, please reference our new support information page: Where should I go for support?
