Default Word to HTM and to HTML? How?

I'm creating a page in Word, then save it as "web page filtered". C-panel takes it as htm. I need to have this page as html to be able to ad graphics etc.
    How to do that.

    Thank you

    Default

Just save it as .html or rename the .htm file to .html

There's no difference between .htm and .html as the content is the same. .htm was used early because of the windows limitations to 3 characters in the length of the extension. When that limitation was removed, .html became the choice of the extension.

It really shouldn't matter in cPanel whether the extension is .htm or .html, either will act and display the same.
