In cPanel 11.28 the 'Disk Space Usage' page received an overhaul and now itemizes disk usage information more clearly with MySQL included; this enhancement is currently in a development version, that of cPanel 11.27 via the EDGE and NIGHTLY release tiers, while further Quality Assurance testing is performed.

What Dalem has mentioned will help to ensure that cPanel and WHM include databases in disk usage calculations when the described option is enabled via WebHost Manager (WHM).
