Question cPHulk - Mysql is currently disabled

Hi when I access the "Configure cPHulk" setting in WHM I receive the following message:
Mysql is currently disabled. To enable mysql go to: Service Manager
Once there check Enable and Monitor for mysql. Then at the bottom of the page click save.
However when I look at the Service Manager page I see that "Enabled" and "Monitor" for mysql are already CHECKED.

I've tried to uncheck > save > re-check > save and still the same message.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

    Default cPHulk

    Hello,

It appears that the best thing to do in this situation would be to go ahead and put in a ticket (via link at bottom of screen), and this is so we can log on and get a better look at what is going on.

    Thank you,
    Matthew Curry

    Hi Matt,

I ended up submitting a service ticket with my hosting provider and they were able to get this resolved. Unfortunately the tech had left for the day and he did not provide details on "how" or "what" he fixed..

For benefit of others I will see if I can track him down and then post up the fix here.

    Thanks

It would be nice if someone posts what this issue is about. I installed today a new cPanel server without a single bit of data on it and I have the same error. How is that possible on a new install?

My guess is that when I changed the mysql password (as per cPanel security suggestions) cpbulk cannot connect anymore.

Please someone tell how to fix this.

For people using the search on this forum:
    Code:
    /scripts/perlinstaller --force Bundle::DBD::mysql
    will fix it.
