Hi, Can anyone help?
I need to edit my index.php and when i go to file manager and on from there and find the correct file my htlm editor does not allow me to edit this file is it something to do with permissions? or am i missing something silly here!

Make sure that the file has at least 644 permissions.
Also, check whether it is owned by the correct user.

Thankyou for the reply yes the permissions are set to 0644, the site is a oscommerce type and yes its owned by me, the initial problem is i have a error now i have moved hosts as they are running a more up to date soft ware i need to edit my programe so it will run, the error is ...1054 - Unknown column 'xxx.products_id' in 'on clause'.

You might do better to check with your host or the OScommerce forums even.

You will have to check the database and settings. Make sure they are compatible with what you had previously.
