    Default location of phpBB database installation By Fantastico

    i install phpBB using Fantastico
    but i dont know where the place of the mySQL Database
    any body can tell me where i can find the database?

    Log In to your cPanel and click on MySQL Databases, there should also be a link to phpMyAdmin in there which will allow you to view your databases and perform queries.

    i know that.., i mean..,

    the directory..., The location...
    i want to change the location of my database

    The location of your database will probably be in /var/lib/mysql/ but you will need root access to your server to get in there. What are you trying to achieve exactly?

    You need to check the datadir value of your configuration.

    I am guessing /var/lib/mysql

    Where can i get "the datadir value of my configuration" ? because i cant see any VAR directory s you said
