Is there a way to implement ms sql database onto a server loaded with mysql? I've never attempted to try ms sql but I have someone who would like to use approx 500mb fro ms sql and minimal bandwidth.

MsSQL only runs on microsoft only. You would need to set up a seperate machine with windows and license the software accordingly. More info: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/
