The mysql is running fine now ?

If mysql is down again, try remove the log file

    in

    /var/log/mysqld.log

    or

    /var/lib/mysql/server.yourserver.com.err

And after this, restart the mysql again

The log file will be recreated.

The log file corrupted, can break the mysql

Verify if the partition var have space too.

If dont have space, then the mysql dont start

If necessary, you can get space

    cd var
    cd cpanel

    rm bandwidth -rf

    After this

    /scripts/restartsrv mysql ( 2 or 3 times )

    then, recreate the bandwidth folder

    mkdir bandwidth

    Default Please submit a ticket

If MySQL is down and you cannot restart it, please submit a support request, and we will be happy to investigate the cause. In this case, it would be more efficient for us to look directly than to speculate as to possible causes in a forum thread.

I want to caution you strongly against deleting anything, including MySQL logs or data in /var/cpanel/bandwidth, unless you are certain that a lack of disk space is the cause of the problem. You can check available disk space by using the following command:

    Code:
    # df -h
If there is plenty of disk space, please submit a support request. This will be the most expeditious way for us to help you with the failed MYSQL.
For hands-on assistance, please reference our new support information page: Where should I go for support?

Did you check the log file to see if it tells you why it cant start?
