Default [MySQL Upgrade] How to do a full DB backup?

    Hey,

Since upgrading to 11.25 theres a setting to upgrade MySQL from 5.0 to 5.1. Doing this it says:
Although in place upgrades of MySQL are generally safe, it is always recommended that you perform a full database backup before beginning the upgrade process.
I cannot afford to lose my DB's and want to play it safe; so how do I do a full database backup?

    Thanks!

All the databases' raw files are stored under the /var/lib/mysql folder. Copy the content of this folder to a separate storage and you will have a backup of your databases. You can also copy the my.cnf file from the etc/ folder. It contains your MySQL configuration.

Alternatively, you can backup the databases one by one from WHM->PhpMyAdmin.

We know cPanel because our web hosting customers love it!
