    Default Problem with update

In previous week i has a problem with automatic server update. My tech support restarted server and today i started update again via WHM.

Now more than 2 hours its update - Updating FTP Server...Ftp Setup Script Version 6.1

Is it normal, or i should start worry about it?

If its stuck at some point for two hours then it doesn't seem to be normal. I would suggest have your tech support check the update logs or running processes to see where its stuck. The corruption of rpm database can be one of the reason.

Should be in /var/cpanel/updatelogs/. If you are not comfortable in working on command line then you may not find any useful information there. If you want it done on urgent basis, you can post it in Jobs section so that someone can check it for you.

Logs don't appear to be very useful, they're just outputting the same as what is on screen.

Updating FTP Server...Ftp Setup Script Version 6.1

Stops at that point and nothing happens.

We've got two new builds with the same problem.

    Update:

A reboot of the servers appears to have resolved this problem.
