Add the following lines inside the .htaccess file of the domain.

    Code:
    Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine on
    Redirect /index.php /site/index.html
    www.cliffsupport.com
i WebManager | Access WHM from your iPhone

For this Apache module mod_rewrite should be enabled.

On a cPanel server mod_rewrite should be enabled by default.

No need to edit the file .htaccess.txt. Make a new file named .htaccess and enter the text I gave.

    Smile Solution

As you mentioned you are new in cPanel hosting then I would like to recommend you follow the following steps

    1) Login into your cPanel

    2) Select FileManager feature

    3) Select public_html directory

    4) And check if you have any file with the name ".htaccess" if no..then create new file with the name .htaccess and put following code in .htaccess file and save it.

    Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine on
    Redirect /index.php /site/index.html
I hope it will sort out your issue..
