Remotely connect to MYSQL?

Essentially I have a few servers that need to connect to this mysql database, I added a specific user for them and told them to connect via the ip, however its not connecting.

Is there perhaps another setting I need to change?

Is your firewall configured to allow connections to port 3306 (the default MySQL port)?
