I searched but could not find any related threads.

I have a specific customer which requires his site in Japanese (his coding is Shift_jis) and I have gone through phpMyAdmin on his account and tried the three available Japenese Charset with no luck as his site will not display correctly.

Is there a simple way of making a settings change for his account that I have not done?
Your help would be appreciated.
