    Arrow SQL error Too many connections

    The system has suffered an unrecoverable database error.
    Error (if any): Too many connections
    Please contact us if the problem persists.

    General Error
    SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

    Too many connections [1040]

    An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
    Where is httpd.conf located at?
    Where is php.ini located at?

    Is this thing called maximum active connections what I should increase?

    cPanel/Enkompass Access Level

    Root Administrator

    Default

    Httpd.conf location---> /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

    Php.ini ---> /usr/lib/php.ini

    Or Use the following commands to locate:

    php -i |grep php.ini
    locate httpd.conf

    Look for this line and set the number you want

    set-variable = max_connections=250

    inside the file /etc/my.cnf
