Default Where can I find wordpress?

    Hi,

I am a total newbie here so please accept my thanks if these seem stupid questions.

OK, I have cpanel, without Fantastico (won't install due to an error but we'll worry about that later.) I wish to install Wordpress and 'connect it to' (if that is the right terminology a domain name I have set up on the hosting.

I went into cPanel and then Install cP Add Ons. I selected Wordpress and let it do its thing. It comes back and say installation succesful.

But - where do I find it after that? I cannot see it anywhere including the software tab.

    Any clues would be welcome.

    Many Thanks

    Jamie

You would go to the web address you specified WordPress to install itself to. This will let you view the blog.

To login to WordPress, go to whatever directory that is and add /wp-admin to the end to login as the administrator user you created when installing WordPress.

The installer is installing it on your site, not into cpanel. It would load the files right into your domain and you can access it directly by going to your domain.
