estadisticas con error awstats,webalizer

hola, hace 8 dias cree un hosting pero alingresar al awstats me da este error
Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.DOMINIO.COM.conf" nor "awstats.conf" after searching in path ".,/home/USUARIO/tmp/awstats/,/etc/opt/awstats,/etc/awstats,/etc,/usr/local/etc/awstats": No such file or directory

- Did you use the correct URL ?
Example: http://localhost/awstats/awstats.pl?config=mysite
Example: http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=mysite
- Did you create your config file 'awstats.grupocrece.co.cc.conf' ?
If not, you can run "awstats_configure.pl" from command line, or create it manually.

Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).


hay varios otos sitios con el mismo problema pero tambien hay sitios que no tiene ningun problema.

Busca la ubicación del fichero: awstats.DOMINIO.COM.conf

Si no sabes donde, prueba a hacer un:

locate awstats.DOMINIO.COM.conf

A partir de ahí puedes seguir investigando..

gracias, lo hice y me aparecio esto

Perfecto, ház lo siguiente:

> updatedb

Esperas a que complete y nuevamente:

> locate fichero_en_cuestion

consulta antes de hacerlo,.
dentro de ese server yo tengo mas clientes
al ejecutar updatedb me afectara en algo ? a los demas ?

ejecute
locate awstats.DOMINIO.COM.conf
y ahora no me dice nada
ejecuto y hace esto

root: locate awstats.DOMINIO.COM.conf
root:

Eso quiere decir que el ficherio de configuración para ese dominio no existe.
Revisa en el WHM, que realmente ese dominio tiene activadas las estadísticas awstats, lo+ probable es que no las tenga activas.
