    Default 0.7.6 released

    Hey all,

This afternoon I pushed out cPGS v0.7.6 . There are two main changes in this release.
The first change is an ACL system for every cPGS API call for remote and local servers. Currently it is in a learning phase to sync the ~/.cpgskey 's between each machine. 0.7.6-0.0.1 will flip the switch and start denying requests that don't have the desired credentials. This is on top of the already existing allowedips= list in cpgsd.cfg .
The second main change is the codebase has been cleaned up a lot, everything uses `strict` where only some parts did before. This required quite a good bit to be refactored. This was the final step to allow other developers to possibly work on cPGS and for standard code reviews on cPGS code, just like the main product gets, to catch a lot of possible errors.
There were also quite a lot of minor bugfixes coming from tickets as usual.
If anyone has problems with the 0.7.6-0.0.0 version please open a ticket and let me know.

Darren, I'm trying to open a ticket but every time I click on I Agree, Step 3 it takes me back to step 1...

I'm getting a error when updating from 0.7.6-0.0.0 to 0.7.6-0.0.6

    Unpacking update file..

Something went wrong while unpacking the installer files : Bad file descriptor

If you are using WHM to update, you are most likely hitting a bug regression from a few versions ago. Try running the update on the command line with `/var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl update` as root via SSH. A reinstall of cPGS in the "manage plugins" page should also do the trick. If that still fails, let me know in a PM or email if you still can't get a ticket in and I'll update it.

Darren, if I do a reinstall of cPGS in the "manage plugins" page. Do I lose all the servers I made?

No, the games will still be installed on client accounts, the configurations for them in WHM will still exist ( the /var/cpanel/gameserv* files do not get removed ) so you should be safe to uninstall cPGS and reinstall it and not have to start all over.
