403 Forbidden

HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Server: cPGSD Content-Length: 52 Main IP. not allowed to talk to this server


what did i do to solve this. Added ports to the firewall.
added the config.

globalconf=/var/cpanel/gameserv_global.cfg

the install did not have any mistake that was going smoothly.
but when i wanna setup a gameserver or wanna do something i get always the msg.

403 not allowed to talk to this server. bit strange.

i run cpanel and CPGS on the same server with WHM


i'm new in Cpanel so pleaes do it step by step. so also other users know what to do.

After you added the main ip to the allowedips= line, did you restart cPGSD ? (`/var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl` will restart itself). If so and you still get the message, open a ticket so I can take a look. You may want to use 127.0.0.1 in the core config if the server is on the same machine as cPanel since it will be a tad faster than forcing it to route of the external interface.

maybe you can add it to the howto or make an FAQ becaues i think more people has this problem.
