    Hi all..

I have a VPS server with cpanel and i tested it by running a 8slot css server of it just to see the functions of this addon.

    now my questions are

1 i have cpgs on my vps as a master server i dont want to run game servers on a server that hosts website..

2 what do i need on my dedicated box that will be for game servers ? i know how to add a remote server thru cpgs but what else do i need installed on my dedicated box ?

    Default adding remote servers

Hey, You can remove the Game Server Management ability under the Feature Management. Look in the "Packages" section of WHM and you will find "Feature Manager" create a new "Feature List" and make sure "Game Server Management" is not selected at the bottom of the list and save. Assign this feature list to a package. When you create a new account with this package they will not have game server management in their cpanel.

Q2. Not sure you to add anything, unless you are running B3 or another admin bot.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking with #1 ? For #2, just make sure the basics like perl and gcc are installed, along with openssl-dev so that the Net::SSLeay and IO::Socket::SSL perl modules can build. cPGSD will try to install the perl modules for you when starting up, but it can't configure CPAN (the perl module archive, not cPanel) automatically so you'll want to be sure `perl -MCPAN -e'install IO::Socket::SSL'` doesn't prompt for CPAN config input (if it doesn't just fill out the info it asks, you only have to do it once.) Other than that there isn't much to do, I've tried keeping the dependancies for cPGS as slim as possible.
