America's Army has a new patch from 2.8.2 to 2.8.3

The full version and patch both say they are for windows, will the patch files work for linux as well ?

I believe so. I tried updated it manually, but uploading multiple GIGs to an FTP will take forever, so would you be willing to update the version soon if possible?

I just updated the AA server package to 2.8.3 . There are some reports of it failing if you use the pipeline_sf map first (not cPGS related) so you may want to keep a copy of the aa.cpgs you have right now around in case 2.8.3 doesn't work for you. It should make it's way to the mirrors by tomorrow. Let me know how it works for you.

I haven't been able to test it yet because of the solar flares thing that I submitted a support ticket for. But, I'm guessing they won't be looking at it until Monday.
