Default Anyone with missing language entries, try this

It looks like the way language files are cached changed a bit. Here is how to fix it until the next release. As root via SSH:

    touch /usr/local/cpanel/lang/english
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cachelangfiles

If that doesn't fix the missing language entries for you, let me know.

    hi,

works like charm for me. I had many corrupted files after fsck, had to do these ones to full fix

    touch /usr/local/cpanel/lang/english
    rm -f /var/cpanel/lang.cache
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cachelangfiles

Default Should apparently no longer be used...

So this fix/workaround appears to be outdated.

When I try it, I get the following:

!!!! Cpanel::Locale detected a call to the deprecated cachelangfiles script. Please update your code to not use the legacy lang system. !!!! at /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cachelangfiles line 42.

info [cachelangfiles] Begin update of locale databases

Still my language files are all messed up. So, there must be a new method of doing this that has yet to be documented.

That should still work, however try this as root via ssh:

    # wget cpgs.cpanel.net/GameServerAddon/english
    # cp english /home/cpgs/cpgs/lang/english
    # mv english /home/cpgs/cpgs/lang/english-utf8
    # touch /usr/local/cpanel/lang/english
    # /usr/local/cpanel/bin/build_locale_databases

If that doesn't work, put in a ticket for me so I can take a look.

Got sent here from another thread but this information seems outdated now, heres what worked for me:

    # cd /usr/local/cpanel/modules-install/cpgs/lang
    # wget cpgs.cpanel.net/GameServerAddon/english
    # mv english.1 english
    # y
    # touch /usr/local/cpanel/modules-install/cpgs/lang
    # /usr/local/cpanel/bin/build_locale_databases
