Default Auto-update via -autoupdate command line (TF2)

I'm trying to get the command-line parameter "-autoupdate" to work correctly with my TF2 on RHEL6 (64Bit). I am aware that you have a selectable option for auto-updating and I'm aware of what it does and how it does it.

I have selected the parameter and it is showing in the processes when I launch the game via the cpanel cpgs (end-user). However, it does not go through the update sequence on start.

When I run the exact command cpgs runs to start the webserver, it does the update successfully. When -autoupdate is enabled, everytime the server starts for the first time it should use the steam binary if its located in ../tf . When it's working properly, a rcon command of "exit" should innitiate a update because it does the "server will restart in 10 seconds".

*Also: Seems when you use the "restart" from cpgs. It does not use the appended command-line properties we set in the admin panel. So for example, -condebug and -autoupdate are not used when I press restart button. They are however used when I start the server with the "start" button.

    Any ideas?

Wait sorry little hard for me to understand since I know little about everything but there is a auto update config in the server control panel under all the configs for the server on the users cpanel not in the back-end and when you restart your server it should update it might take a bit to load but it will load. I hope this helps!!

You might want to put in a ticket for me with login info so I can take a look, there are a few different issues at play here. The autoupdate option in cPGS is not directly related to the -autoupdate command line, but rather runs a steam update right before the start of the server when set. The command line args being lost on restart may need looking into by me for a fix, I know I fixed a similar problem a couple months ago but perhaps not the scenario you have.
