COD4 MOD Issues Operationally + Download slow

My mods seem to operate very slowly and when a user enters the gameserver the mod downloads at 2/3 KB/sec. Many other mod download at the clients dload speed?

Is there a fix for this.

I don't know if it works the same way as valve would but maybe it's your server and you can setup a Fast Download/Redirect but I'm sure Darren would help you even though they don't support it but before I send you to them I did some research try this reading this...

it works, but it the mod download takes ages, as it goes 3 KB/Sec..... not the client download speed. I have tried to point it at a url however it say incomplete.... failed

I'm sorry then that should have worked other suggestions would be that your server is capping it. I would have to recommend you to try submitting a ticket to Darren he should get to it tomorrow. Sorry I couldn't help you.

Off the top of my head I would think it's a setting with promod, if you have other mods alongside it downloading at normal speed. There are no settings that I'm aware of in the game itself to limit download speeds of modules
I saw a client a couple of weeks ago who got promod up and running so I know it's possible, they had problems at first but reinstalled it using a different source / version and it began working for them. Feel free to put in a ticket and I'll take a look when I can.
