    Default Could not open config file /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgsd.cfg : No such file or directory

    Well, after a graceful reboot, my Game Servers stopped showing up on an account in CPANEL Manage Game Servers....

    I can see the 2 listed servers in WHM, but yet i cant go to the config of them if i try to find them .... on the ftp the servers are installed on .gameservers ( the directory gameservers without a dot infront is empty )

    Im shit at all this, dunno where to start, i suppose its not pointing to the right directory or i have rights issues??? Anyhows dunno where and how to modify whatever needs to be

    I just dont understand that after a reboot this happens...

    Try running /var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl as root via ssh, does that fix the error ? If not, please put in a support ticket for me so I can take a look.

    Well, I have something similar but :

    /bin/bash: /var/cpanel/cpgs_cron.pl: No such file or directory
    and also

    /bin/bash: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cpgs_chk: No such file or directory

    1 per minute.... by mail from cron daemon...

    EDIT :

    I tried a force reinstall and get this :

    IO::Socket::INET configuration failederror:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
    This can caused by a few things:

    * The cPGSD server is not running on 127.0.0.1:2092
    * There is a firewall blocking access to 127.0.0.1:2092
    * 127.0.0.1 is not the right IP and/or 2092 is not the right port
    * Solar Flares (Please contact support to investigate)

    Ok, well i decided to reinstall a gameserver (TF2) on the same account, since it didnt see any previous of #0 install it installed it with that ID. Sadly i could then see multiple installs... i didnt mind it at first and just decided to use different ports not knowing if it would actually have an effect. In the USED PORTS ( they were with red background ).

    Anyhows all went well, i installed the server but then when i logged on Cpanel, went to Game Manage, and set all the options for the server, everytime i hit save...it didnt do anything. As if its refusing to save the parameters, would just arrive on another screen with a blank and again the option Manage servers.
    ok.....
    So i put my own server.cfg. None the less i dont have all the options i had back before, like Update server..where has that gone?
    And yes my server is not updating, if i check logs..it says what i have been seeing abit all over
    [S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to update local steamclient. Continuing with current version anyway.

    Does this mean this doesnt exist anymore ? Do i need to update TF2 servers through console? And if so whats the command, i didnt have to do it before, but its as if their is a new version..and this version is really buggy for me

    Thanks for the help...

    monsignore - sounds like you have a bad install. remove the cpgs lines from /etc/crontab for now to stop the mails, then put in a ticket for me if you'd like me to install cpgs for you.

    S0Slick - what's the ticket # ?

    I had this same issue today and had to change the lines to these:

    * * * * * root /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl
    */5 * * * * root /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_chk 2>&1 >>/var/log/cpgsd.log

    The other files don't exist, instead these did underneath the /var/cpanel/cpgs folder.

    If you are getting the crontab path errors , edit /etc/crontab and set them to

    * * * * * root /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl
    */5 * * * * root /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_chk 2>&1 >>/var/log/cpgsd.log

    as nerddtvg just mentioned. The 0.7.2 release should be out today which will also fix this once and for all.
