    Default CPGS 0.5.3 Errors

    Hiya Folks,

Im new to this module. Can anyone advise on what to do?

Select the gameserver file you wish to remove from: 67.99.17.153

There seems to have been a problem running sendssl("67.99.17.153" "dlgsfiles" "getavail"): HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Server: cPGSD Content-Length: 51 IP 67.99.17.153 not allowed to talk to this server

i ran into the same error :\
    wish I could help you
    EDIT
    Guess the search feature worked
    Do
    pico /var/cpanel/cpgsd.cfg
Then add your IP, in the allowedips=
    save
    exit
    then restart cpsgd by running
    ./cpgsd.pl

    Thanks for you help.

But so much for cPanel supporting their products.

Sent a ticket and still no reply

I have only seen one cPGS related ticket this month so far, normally all the other techs send them to me. Let me know the ticket number if you didn't get a reply.
Also, sorry for my absence, I'm in the tail end of a grueling transcontinental move to work at the main office, so things should start picking back up soon.

Just to clarify, the "your IP" means the IP of your server. If you run cpgsd and the games on the same server that is running the cPanel frontend, you can use 127.0.0.1 . You can also use the primary interface IP (according to the machine's routing, `lynx http://n3t.net/ip.cgi` from the shell of the server if in doubt). The allowedips= line is to restrict who may "talk" to the cpgsd as an additional layer of protection along with the shared secret key (which I'm going to assume about 50% or more are leaving as the default ) Hope that helps a bit.
