Default cPGS Server Up and Down for a bit

    Hey,

I noticed today while updating a package that I was getting some random file corruption with large files. The 3ware raid controller says it's integrity is ok, but the md5sums of newly copied files are incorrect. The admins are going to take it down some this weekend and fsck each drive, test ram and possibly swap the controller. I'm not sure how long each of these will take, but I expect it will be a couple hours of downtime. When the server is down, the package download feature in WHM won't work correctly since it can't get a list of the latest file versions. Hopefully nothing else will be affected. Anyway, just in case you notice the site down or WHM not gracefully handling the lack of a current file list (which it will someday), don't worry, it'll be back

    Thanks,
    Darren

I'm guessing this is what is causing my Game Server Management on my WHM to not display anything. Will it be back up on Monday? I have some servers for customers to install.

EDIT: You said a couple of hours, it's been over a day....I hope everything is going ok, I need the management back

Yes, apparently it went down early sat morning and has been down since. I know the main hardware guy (who has biometric access to the server room, I do not) is going in Sunday to fix. I'll try to call him and make sure it's up as soon as possible.

Back up now, they had to replace the motherboard itself. Let me know if you still see problems anywhere on the site.

Yeah, I see that it's working now. I haven't found any problems yet I'll let you know if I do. Thanks for making the downtime short
