Creating a game server

Is there a way to just create a game server and not give a person web space.

I believe you can create an account with an arbitrary domain name and set the user's cPanel skin to 'gs'. It should only show the gameserver configuration then.

In the past I've created an account with the domain 'clanname.gameservers.myhostingcompany.com' with a dedicated IP and the 'gs' skin for their servers.

I do remember creating a package with nothing available in terms of bandwidth and diskspace, and a feature list with only access to cPGS, contact info and a few other things, but I don't believe I ever got around to using them.

Even if you give the user the "gs" skin rather than "x3" they are still able to have webspace. I think the best bet is to give them the "gs" skin and then make their account a fake domain. So set it up so the domain is something like "USERNAME.thissiteiscompletelyfake.com" and then they can't have any webspace.

Yep, there's no "clean" or obvious way, the easiest is probably to use the "gs" theme and create the account with a fake domain, like whatever.cpgs or whatever.game rather than whatever.com or whatever.net .
