That's quite a strange error. Can you put in a ticket so I can take a look ?

    Default New- Don't kill me!

Hello all. I'm new to this and have run into a problem... I'm trying to set up a game on my new server and afterwards it tells me I need to download the game server files. So I choose 127.0.0.1 as my recipient server and choose hl2 (i tried hl as well). It tells me my hl2 is out of date and hl is currupted. Well I pick a mirror site and it takes me to the download screen where it just freezes up. It acts like it should load but it doesn't. Any ideas?

    ADDENDUM:
I tried to reinstall the game server plugin and this is what it said:

cPGSD @ 127.0.0.1 is now running version
Can not connect to remote socket.
    IO::Socket::INET configuration failederror:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
This can caused by a few things:

    * The cPGSD server is not running on 127.0.0.1:2092
    * There is a firewall blocking access to 127.0.0.1:2092
    * 127.0.0.1 is not the right IP and/or 2092 is not the right port
    * Solar Flares (Please contact support to investigate)

greenstar - if you'd like, put in a ticket so I can take a look at it. The mirror files all got changed yesterday which may have affected the downloads. The error you got when reinstalling suggests that cPGSD wasn't running. You could try `/var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl` as root via ssh to see if it will start up ok.

I can do that, but you may need to explain a little bit more. this is my first time with a dedicated and cpanel for that matter. I'm new, not dumb, so it shouldn't be too much of a bother.

    ssh?

SSH is "secure shell", an encrypted telnet-like client, it's how you log into and use a server without going through the cPanel interface. It's where techs log in to fix stuff. I'll assume you are using Windows at home, you should google for "putty", it's a free ssh client for windows. You may want to peruse the forums here for a few days to get an idea of some of the terminology, "ssh" is an everyday word and used by pretty much every hosting company admin daily. Until you get a bit more acquainted with the server's innards, it'll probably be best to put in a support ticket. cPGS is still not 100% GUI-only (then again neither is cPanel for that matter) so being familiar with SSH is needed to run it successfully.

Okay. From my my whm it fully installed. Then I switched over to cpanel to make a download the hl package and it said it was misconfigured

However, the hl2 package is uploading properly (so far)

I'll make a support ticket now.

Now it just freezes during server install.

I've have created a support ticket, but i'm not sure about what to put for the ssh info, but i'll gladly provide it if you show me how.
