L4D2 dedicated server - not reachable

Hi there,

I was trying to set up a server for L4D2 and used mostly the default config. The only things I've changed:

- steam group id
- searchkey
- name
- rcon pw
- server location

However, when I try to connect to the server from the game, it tells me that I can't connect to a LAN server (something about class C networks..). sv_lan is set to 0 and I opened all the necessary ports in the firewall (csf+lsf).

I'm kinda stuck here. What am I missing..?

There can be a lot of reasons for this kind of wacky behavior from the L4D2 server. I suggest putting in a ticket for me so I can take a look at it and see if I can find anything that might be the cause. I trust you can connect to other L4D2 servers normally ?

in dev console you have to put

mm_dedicated_force_servers iport

(example: mm_dedicated_force_servers 64.34.173.173,64.34.173.173:27016,64.34.173.173:27017 )

this will choose one of the 3 servers (from left to right till one is available)

To make it easier, I just created a autoexec.cfg in my client l4d2 config folder with said command in it.
