I saw only a couple of actual posts on this topic, so I figured a thread devoted to something this specific would not hurt. For those of you that run a Teamspeak or Ventrilo server, there is an emerging new third alternative:
Main Page - Mumble
Some interesting stated features are:
-Free
-Positional Audio in supported games. example: a person who has their character standing behind you in a game speaks in murmur. your speakers make the sound come from behind you where their character is positioned.
-The client appears to be very skinnable for those wanting to do rebranding of some sort. For examples, see here: Mumble Skins | Mumble-Tower
-Linux/Windows/OSX support
-Sound quality is supposedly matched with ventrilo, or better when using the best codecs for both servers.
-Low resource usage other than bandwidth
One issue I ran into were all the dependencies you find out about while trying to get the server compiled. Having it bundled into cPGS would make it be much easier to set up and manage, and give another option alongside teamspeak for people wanting a little more choice.

Why? Every game panel has ventrillo! - Including a web browser for ports etc!
