    Default No such file or directory cPGS

    I keep recieving loads of emails saying this:

    Title:
    Cron <root@fire> /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl*/5 * * * * root /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cpgs_chk 2>&1 >>/var/log/cpgsd.log‏
    Body:
    /bin/bash: /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl*/5: No such file or directory
    I have run the command /var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl as root via ssh but it only stopped some of them, I have read through the thread located HERE

    Please shelp as this is really starting to annoy me!

    Thanks In advance!

    Looks like the /et/crontab entry needs a new line,

    change

    (whatever) /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl*/5 * * * * root /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cpgs_chk 2>&1 >>/var/log/cpgsd.log‏

    to

    (whatver) /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl

    */5 * * * * root /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cpgs_chk 2>&1 >>/var/log/cpgsd.log‏

    so there is a line break there. Put in ticket if that doesn't help

    Comment out or remove the line
    * * * * * root /var/cpanel/cpgs/cpgs_cron.pl
    and see if it helps. Did this start happening when you uninstalled cPGS ?

    You'll have to add the user/process to the appropriate ignore list. You'll find more on that on the CSF forums.
