    Default Reseller limits and permissions

    Hi.

Apologies if any of these have already been answered but i couldnt find them when searching:

1.) When granting reseller privleges add an option for what they can resell, maybe a check list or similar, like below:

    http://jortex.com/misc/gsresell01.JPG

2.) Teamspeak - At present when granting a user superadmin rights they can then create an unlimited amount of servers with each having an unlimited amount of slots, is there any way, now or planned, to limit this by either max servers they can create or overall slots they are allowed?

3.) much the same as no.2 but for other gameservers?, the best way to describe what i mean is like the screenshot linked to below:

    http://jortex.com/misc/gsresell01.JPG

4.) A lot more control over what resellers have, max ports and there range, ip address's etc.. im sure you get the idea.

    Cheers

I like the idea for #1, reseller control has not been getting the attention it needs, I'll try to straighten it up a bit and make it more useful.

If giving super admin to a team speak client, there is no way cPGS can limit anything. That's really only useful for a hosting company that is installing it on their own account to create "servers" as needed. TS has it's own control interface built in both through the client and embedded webserver, if the client ahs super admin they can do pretty whatever they want with it outside the scope of cPGS.

Hi, i love the ideas listed above i think being able to limit a reseller's amount of slots they can sell is a biggy.

Out of intrest.. If your reselling, dosent that mean your going to have a fair few game servers running at once? How many do you have running on one server?
    Whats the spec..

    Just curious

(assuming you asked me) I dont actually use cpgs atm, but myself and a mate were having a look at it and thought being able to limit slots would be an advantage

Thats what i expected to be honest, id imagine it would be near impossible without re-writing the teamspeak interface.

So, is it possible that when a reseller creates a gameserver via cpgs that an email be sent to the root email address with the respective details so that these can be monitored manually?

At the moment only Teamspeak and SHOUTcast (via WHMSonic) are being made available to resellers, all these are set up on 2.33 Ghz Clovertown's from LT, seems a little overkill for the amount we actually have at the moment but should (hopefully) cover a fair bit of growth.

Ahh righty. I was thinking more gameservers themselves which are pretty resources hungry so reselling those on one server would be a bit eeekk...

But teamspeak servers are all good though!
