This is what I get in the log file /var/log/cpgsd for cpgs_chk.
I have this running constantly...

Can someone explain whats wrong?
And I suggest that the cpgs control panel starts servers in the background.

Why dont you let it work in screen mode?

It works brilliantly in screen mode with no errors what so ever!

I'm confused here.. What problem are you having with the cpgs_chk script ? It was just rewritten as of 0.6.14 to call cPGSD's startserver function directly rather than trying to start it up on it's own and duplicating all that code. The 0.6.14-0.0.2 release (IIRC) changed it from calling hlds_run to calling the hlds_i686 (or whatever) binary directly as apprpriate for your hardware since it was confusing the pid file checking (pid file had PID of hlds_run, not the server it spawned.)

Also, having servers started in screen is on my to-do list as an option, since I know many folks don't offer ssh access. It should be pretty trivial to add to the command line, but I need to ensure that screen is installed, etc or else I'll get a million tickets about it :P
