Not sure what's going on here.
First, in my LFD log, I've got hundreds of lines identical to the following:
Dec 14 16:02:28 pit lfd[21853]: *Skipped File* /tmp/cpgs_sslclient.log - Too large to scan
And sure enough, the referenced file is HUGE. It's full of errors that mention non-existant gameservers (which ONCE were valid, but BEFORE I upgraded to cPGS v.0.71). Here's a typical entry, for which I've redacted the actual username and replaced it with (USERNAME):
==>> 127.0.0.1 startserver (USERNAME) hl 0 1
<<== OK: You have tried to start either an unknown gameserver (hl) or one which this account is not allowed to run.
==>> 127.0.0.1 singleisrunning (USERNAME) hl2 0
<<== OK: Down
==>> 127.0.0.1 startserver (USERNAME) hl2 0 1
<<== OK: You have tried to start either an unknown gameserver (hl2) or one which this account is not allowed to run.
But there's nothing in CRONTAB, or that's user's personal CRON jobs, that is trying to start that gameserver. I removed the HL server and replaced it with HL2, quite some time ago.
And it's not just that user.
Many references were to a gameserver I once had installed, but remove AGES ago, or one that I NEVER had under my account in the first place. And I'm 99% certain I removed the actual ones "properly". Here's that entry, redacted as above:
127.0.0.1 startserver (MY-USER) bf1942 0 1
<<== Could not open config file (/home/(MY-USER)/.gameservers/bf1942_0/mods/bf1942/settings/serversettings.con) : No such file or directory <br>
<<== OK: Battlefield 1942 Game Server Started
First, the BF1942 server was NEVER under my account but rather in another user's account and, second, it was removed LONG ago, too.
I do have valid SSL certs for both the server itself (servername.domain.com), as well as my main account (www.domain.com) and one or two other Domains. But none of the gameserver users has an SSL cert on their accounts.
Any ideas as to what's going on, Darren??
Thanks in advance.
