Team Fortress 2 question.

Ok....Darren got me squared away so HL2 installs properly now. However when I look in server configuration, such as where you can pikc HL2, DOD or CSS as a server, Team Fortress 2 isnt listed. I want ot run it as TF2 server but not sure how now. Anyone?

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm waiting for a dev server with a cpu that supports SSE2, the current 3+yr old server does not, so it can't even run the TF2 or Garry's Mod mods. Once I get the new server (should be by this weekend) then I can finish the TF2 and Garry's Mod support. Until then, it won't be there. You can still run them from the command line of course, if your server supports SSE2 (`grep -i sse2 /proc/cpuinfo`

any news on when Garry's mod will be an allowed mod for HL2. I notice its included in the installation under orangebox. But when should we expect to have to configurable via whm.

csutton - it's on my list, a bit swamped right now with the training seminar starting tomorrow. The support is almost already done since back when it was only written for Windows, now that they have Linux support it shouldn't be too hard to finish it up.

I just checked and don't see any new support for Garrysmod for Linux, if you are seeing this then please link me to it. Did you see something that said it had Linux support now ?

TF2 has been there for awhile now.. are you not seeing it ? It's the "tf" mod for HL2
