    Default Team Fortress Forbidden

    Well I have been looking and I am unable to find a fix for this although I am sure it is there.

    My Config:
    Code:
    secret=************
    root=/var/cpanel/
    allowedips=127.0.0.1,My Main IP
    sslpem=/var/cpanel/cpgs.pem
    pkgdir=/home/gameservers/
    qstat=/usr/local/bin/qstat
    logfile=/var/log/cpgsd.log
    port=2092
    When I try to start up Team Fortress I get this error:
    Code:
    /home/etechga/.gameservers/hl2_0/orangebox/srcds_i486 -dir /home/etechga/.gameservers/hl2_0/orangebox/ -autoupdate -game tf +maxplayers 50 +ip 64.85.166.138 -port 27015 +map cs_office -pidfile /home/etechga/.gameservers/hl2_0/hl2.pid HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Server: cPGSD Content-Length: 48 IP 127.0.0.1 not allowed to talk to this server
    Port 27015 is allowed on the firewall.
    Added: And I did restart cpanel.
    Any suggestions?

    Did you restart cPGSD ? It's not restarted with cPanel. Just run /var/cpanel/cpgsd.pl as root via ssh to do so. You may also want to check /var/cpanel/gameserv.cfg to be sure the error itself isn't saved in there like it might be if you had saved a "manage game" page with it showing up in WHM.
    If it still says 127.0.0.1 is not allowed and it's in /var/cpanel/cpgsd.cfg and you've just restarted cPGSD, put in a ticket so I can take a look at it.

    OK, well I still had the problem however I noticed that my game did not update properly to the newest version. I removed the game and reinstalled it and now I am running the update on it manually just to be sure, however I think it was my login/pass for steam, I think I was logged on to it while the sevrer was trying to update.

    The file that you mentioned to check for the errors in did have 3 lines which looked much like the error I was getting. I think there were 2 for tf2 and 1 for teamspeak. Once I get done with this update I will post further information, thanks for your help.

    The first time I used the update link in cpanel which probably would have worked had I not had login info my local comp was using at the time. However I made a new account for it and did an update. The server started normally and is running great, thanks for your assistance Darren.
