Angry Team Fortress2 problem (server crashing)

Wondering if others are experiencing this? What started happening this last weekend is , if more then about 4-5 people join the server, it crashes.

I have removed the addons folder (no mods) and makes no difference. Also does not matter which instance of the game ( have 3) they all act the same way. I have made no changes other than the Valve updates and I have been running TF2 for a long time and its runs fine even with all 3 servers full (24 slots each) that is until this last weekend. Now if I lock the server down so no one can join, the server runs without crashes, but again, let about 5 folks in and the server crashes.
Darren... any ideas on what to do?? again it is NOT mod related!

well unless this has yet to be released and distributed, I am at currect version of 1.1.6.2 and this crashing on all instances of the 3 servers running on the VPS started last Saturday. For almost a year now, I have been able to run fully loaded, and now can only host about 4-5 per server berfore a crash.
So if this is about to be released ( next release ) then this is good news, if this is info about a already released update, then this does not help as I am dead in the water

Just to clarify for anyone in case there is any confusion, the information Rasterman posted is from a Valve update on steam, not a cPGS update. They broke it and they have fixed it, you should be able to enable auto-update in cPGS for the user/game/server in question, stop/start it and have it working again. If not, you can use the vphysics.so-alternate from Index of /gm and rename it to vphysics.so until your server gets the update, however that shouldn't be needed anymore.

Darren, I keep autoupadte enabled. I started crashing after the update. My servers are all at currect rev.
To your point, I know this is not a cpanel problem, I , out of despiration, posted here, mainly to see if others are having the same issue and to see if youhad any suggestions.. Ill try this alternate physics.so file

edited, alternate file is working and server is not crashing

    thanks for the help!

I have been trying to do a TF2 server for the last few days. I have auto updates on for TF2 and it still gives me the error message "Server as not updated to the most recent version" when we try to join the server. Any ideas? I have tried Darren's little fix, but still can't get in.

LadyHawk - Assuming there is available disk space for updates and that the files are owned by the user (rather than root if it was run from the shell by an admin) then the autoupdate should take care of it. I also assume you've stopped and started the TF2 server so the autoupdate would take place and start with the new binaries ? If so and you are still getting that error, put in a ticket for me.
