    Default Teamspeak already installed

Hello I have a few questions about cpgs with teamspeak.

    1. dose cpgs monitor the total bandwidth used by teamspeak.
    2. If teamspeak is already installed can cpgs be set to monitor that instalation
    3. If teamspeak is installed on the same system as whm and it already has a user of its own can cpgs be set to monitor it as well or will it have to be deleted completely and replaced?

Hey, sorry for the late reply. While I would love to monitor bandwidth for teamspeak and all the game servers, it's not very feasible for a number of reasons. One problem is that most of if not all of the game servers (TS included) do not monitor bandwidth usage either at all, or in a stateful manner, meaning in between stops/starts/crashes. This pretty much rules out being able to monitor usage like you can with apache or ftp or mail which logs the size of each transfer. This leaves doing the tracking on the OS level with iptables, or ipfw, or ipf, or pf, or whatever firewall you are using on whatever OS. This would require anticipating the firewall mechanism for any Os it would run on (probably iptables or ipfw) and then adding rules into the right places (before traffic is denied somewhere) to count it, but only on the right ip and port. This is a bit more invasive than I would think cPGS should be, and is really more work than is needed. Most big gameserver companies don't regulate bandwidth used by servers since it is not very much, but rather the number of slots/users for each server.
Don't get me wrong, I love seeing charts of even the most useless statistics from my servers, but there is a time and place for everything, and I'm not seeing cPGS's place being to monitor bandwidth on every machine it's one right now. Perhaps in the future if someone can suggest a good way to do this that works for them and would be scalable to other machines and OSes then I can add it in.

As for monitoring a TS install, it would have to be moved to the /home/user/.gameservers/tss2_rc2/ directory to be seen by cPGS. Assuming it's the same version then it should be manageable by cPGS.
