Ok, for starters, by having a "main account" do you mean you have root access to WHM ? That is needed to get cPGS installed and configured for regular user accounts. In WHM you should be able to install cPGS on the Plugins page and then setup the user/game installs from the new Gameserver Management page. If you've got root access, let me know how far you've gotten, otherwise you need to ask your hosting company to install cPGS (feel free to direct them to cpgs.cpanel.net and to me for any questions.)

If you are running the game servers on the same machine as cPanel, use 127.0.0.1 for the "core config" IP. Then download the game server packages , they will go to the server, not your computer at home. Make sure you've also allowed an IP for the server to bind to when started (public IP, not 127.0.0.1) , ports and other options in the "Manage Game" dropdown option. After that install the game and you should be ready to configure (hostname, default map, gravity, speed, whatever) and and play.

I have everything, root, all of that. Right now I only interface with the server via WHM, cpanel X and CPGS. So that's what I'm "limited" to at this moment, no VNC or nothing yet like I'm used to. I have installed a server, but I don't know where to configure it...where the user cpanel is for that server, how to make one, nothing, etc.

Once a server is "allowed" via WHM using the user/server/install #/Manage Game options from the dropdown menu, it should show up as a cPGS icon in the user's regular cPanel interface (crosshairs with "cPGS" superimposed) where you can set it up and start it, etc. Have you configured the server part in WHM yet ? If you can let me know exactly what you've done so far I can tell you the next steps. Maybe try to setup wizard in WHM I created ?

fkkl - If you need to allow a remote IP and setting up a remote server via WHM doesn't to it for you, you can edit /var/cpanel/cpgsd.cfg on the remote server to allow the IP of the cPanel server to talk to it. If you mean where do you put the IP that gamers will connect to when playing, that's in the dropdown menus in Manage IPs or follow the link from the Manage Game page, also in the dropdown menu.

fkkl - if you are using the same server for cPGS + game servers and cPanel, 127.0.0.1 should be the "core config" IP you use when setting up servers, that public IP shouldn't even be showing up in the download game server package dialogue, try finding the game you set up and change it's "core config" IP to 127.0.0.1 if it's set otherwise. The for downloading the package, select the 127.0.0.1 server.

kevaskous - In WHM you can log into a user's account directly from the "List Accounts" page and clicking on the cPanel icon to be transfered into the user's account, or log in as the user directly like https://yourserver.com:2083/
