    Default Update 0.6.15

Since this update I have had problems with Two TS2 servers not showing up in the control panel properly. It always says they are not running, but they are. We can use them without a problem, but in the control panel they show as not running to the point it gives you the start button. Some admins see this and keep trying to restart the servers over and over again. They will not start because they are running. This started right after the 0.6.15 update!

I got one ticket about this today however the problem is they were only allocated 1 port to listen on, they need 3 for the different functions the server handles and the 3 different ports must be set and saved before the server is started, otherwise it will try restarting over and over in vain trying to bind to ports it's already bound to, so the binary will appear to be running but the server isn't actually getting started. If that's not the case for you, please put in a ticket so I can take a look.

NO, TeamSpeak is running, but Cpanel reports it is not. These servers are not new, they have been in operation for sometime now. They have all three ports assigned.

Ok, I'm going to release a modification to the TS server startup code along with the CoD:WaW support hopefully by Tuesday (0.6.16), if that doesn't help, open a ticket and I'll take a look.

Did this make it into the 0.6.16 update?

Could yall put in tickets so I can see exactly what the problem is, it may be different than what I'd seen earlier this week.

    Default TeamSpeak Servers

I should have had you look at one of the other servers. I have the same problem on multiple servers after doing the cPGS update to 6.15. I will submit a ticket as this is a different Linux Box.

    Default TeamSpeak Servers

The problem I have now is that wiped out the configuration. It is okay for the one you just did but I am sure they will not be happy with the others...

I am not going to submit a ticket if reinstall is the solution. I will check with the client and see what is bothering him more, the erroneous reporting in cPGS or having to redo 2 64 slot TS servers. They are running fine it is only cPGS shows they are not!

Is anyone else noticing a problem with TS servers having the server.dbs file zero'd out (0 bytes) and owned by root ? I don't see a way cPGS could do that but I don't see everything Usually a zero byte file is caused by the user being over their disk quota and trying to write to a file. How it would get owned by root however is another matter entirely. The only times cPGS writes to the server.dbs file it has dropped permissions to the user.

The problem that I found and fixed from 0.6.15 affected everyone, but it had nothing to do with a zero byte root owned server.dbs preventing the server from starting at all, but rather with the pid file being deleted on restart attempts causing it to "disappear". I'll take tickets on either or another unrelated issue however
