Ventrilo

I went to the Ventrilo site today and found that they have server versions for Linux. Is it possible to get Ventrilo added to cPGS along with TeamSpeak? I know of a great many customers who are dying to have ventrilo. Many prefer it over TeamSpeak.

I believe the reason it's not included is because of strict licensing problems..

I may be wrong there though...

Yes, their licensing (I just checked again) is far to strict to use legally within the framework of cPGS. The CEO of Triton CI / Teamspeak sales granted me permission personally to include and package Teamspeak for cPGS; she probably realizes that it's better to make partnerships that promotes their software and creates a win-win situation for both parties. I never got a reply despite several attempts contacting Ventrilo to get the same sort of allowance; I can't even package their linux server or host it on the mirrors or they declare it "fraud". The free version is limited to 8 client connections anyway. Unless they change their stance or will give special permission to this project, I don't see it getting added.

Oh, ok. Well, just another reason I like TeamSpeak better then. I thought it was just a linux issue.
