    Default WHMCS Integration

    WHMCS Intergration

    Hi there,

    Developers
If intrested in developing a plugin for WHMCS please post in here and we can try and see how many people we have. If possible we can get a small team together and then work on it together to make an amazing pluggin!

    Users
What sort of features would you like to see in a WHMCS pluggin? What would you like it to do?

I would love to help out, with coding mainly, but I do not have use of any WHMCS installation and have never actually used it before. I only plan on using it once I start selling servers.

    From the other thread:

As far as features, basically just for WHMCS to support game servers like web hosting. You can define "products/packages" which include all the normal hosting stuff (or not) and then all the server variables like type of server and slots (chosen by buyer).

Then on the backed just the obvious things like automatic installation on account creation, un-installation on account termination.

Also it would be nice to have a "deactivate" feature when you suspend a users account, basically turn off the server and block access to it.

Basically I would just like dealing with game servers to be no more difficult than selling domains or hosting with WHMCS.

WHMCS Does not yet have a pluggin which integrates CPGS. We would like a pluggin that will automatically create the gameservers!

Knowing matt, if you`d address this on the whmcs forums, I`m sure he`ll be more than happy to code it, and offer it in whmcs directly.

I believe this has already been addressed. Once there is a plugin developed matt will look into it

Patience is essence. I`d rather wait for something matt did so he`ll support updates, then waiting for a plugin and having it "expire" after a future whmcs update.

    Hi All,

I have looked into this myself and after talking with matt the response i got was that cPGS does not have a big enough user base to warrent the dev time. TCAdmin for example has a lot more users, and a bigger call for it was made on teh whmcs forums etc, so matt spent the time on it.

Currently i run it through whmcs with the use of the checkout.php and the cpanel API to create the gameserver accounts. Quite simple and works ok.

    Back to this subject.

Now! Does anybody solve this issue?
Can someone pay with paypal and get instant acces not only to cpanel account via whmcs activation sistem, but also have a gpgs server online, or at least able to make it from cpanel account, not ofter an admin activate his user in gpgs panel.

It would be a lot easier (and more possible) if cPGS had an API to work with. However, as Darren stated in the past, he's just one person - and having trouble keeping up with the new Open Source dedicated server games and what not. If he ever catches up and if he ever finds the time I'm sure he'll probably dabble in it - and that's the day integration with WHMCS will be possible.

True, by the 1.0 release there will be a pretty solid API so pretty much any system can talk to cPGSD and "do the needful". The biggest delays in 0.7.3 are a change in the current API change and a bug in cPanel causing addons to not update properly. Once the bugfix in cPanel/WHM goes out then I should be able to release 0.7.3. The new API will be done by 0.8.0 and will hopefully be fairly robust. If there is enough demand I can try focusing on the core functions outside billing/automation systems would need to call sooner than the rest, it's really all up to what yall want and I can make happen anyway

But is there a possible way that You could release an API for cPGS before the 1.0 Version ?

There's no way I'll be documenting any API before the 1.0 release, I imagine the natural development cycle will have parts of it being implemented before the 1.0 release, but the meat and potatoes of it won't be available before then.
It's the most often requested feature by a long shot, and trust me, I hear you guys, but this is one of the few things I can't really bump to the top of the list.
