What is Angry Llama?

Angry Llama is a team of dedicated, cross-functional, people at cPanel that are focused on making changes to the cPanel & WHM product. We follow an agile development model based around doing small increments of work in a communicable fashion.

What is this place?

As any of you who have been with cPanel & WHM for any length of time know, the backup system has been in need of some TLC, to say the least. Team Angry Llama, as we have come to call ourselves, has been working on the backup system for some time now, with some rather dramatic, and hopefully much improved changes to make your lives just a bit easier when dealing with backups.

Team Angry Llama will not solely be focused on backups, it’s merely our currently assigned task, and goal to make better. As part of this new system, we are reaching out to you our loyal customers and users. From time to time, Team Angry Llama will be posting wireframes, concepts, articles, and works-in-progress to not only get feedback, but hopefully get you to participate with us in making cPanel & WHM better for everyone. The more participation and feedback we can get from you during the process, the more likely the end result will be something we can both be happy with. Unlike the feature request forum, this forum, and shared resources, serves as a view into active development.

As a starting point we want to share with you a view into our current development work load. We have published these using trello, a wonderful collaboration tool. Please take the time to review our board. If you have a trello account you can participate directly on the board. The trello board does not encapsulate all our development work for this project. That is primarily done using an internal tool.
