Greetings
Is there a simple way to remove Add-ons like mod_security , etc from resellers WHM ?
I think this is a very risky option to allow
Thank you

I do not know exactly which release fixed this issue (the cpanel changelog is not as useful as it could be in this regard).Originally Posted by registerpol
It was reported in that thread that C20 fixed the issue.
There is a STABLE as well as CURRENT release more recent than what you have installed. I would suggest updating from your version to STABLE 50 (CURRENT is only at 45).
This is not fixed via a cpanel update but via an update to the mod_security addon.
The version that is fixed is: 1.8.4-0.8.4
Which everyone will be running now.
The resellers will still see the addon_module section for it however it jsut reports back that it is installed.

Yes. This is a bug and remains a bug. On top of that, the resellers can view the statistcs choices even if it is disabled in root.
On top of that, the resellers can see all accounts, and not just their own.![]()
i can confirm it too under 1.8.4-0.8.9
