API Change Owner not working

I have tried changing the owner of account with an api command, but only it is not working, however changing everything else is working (username, ftp accounts, etc)

The command was just like in the documentation:

http://mydomain.com:2086/xml-api/modifyacct?user=myusername&owner=newowner

I ran successfully, however the owner did not change

I found a solution on how to change it (/scripts/dochangeowner), however I would prefer using the API.

Any thoughts?

Thank you for the report, I have verified this issue and we should have it fixed at some point in the near future.

the cpanel suport say:
